Reflections: The Only Person Who Can Stop You From Succeeding Is Yourself
There’s a saying I’ve been repeating for years: the only person who can stop you from succeeding is yourself.
It may sound cliché or overly positive, but there’s truth in it.
Life is a battle of the mind. We’re all going to face adversity, setbacks, rejection, and failure. That’s part of the journey. But those challenges can build the resilience, discipline, and mindset we need to keep moving forward.
I’ve had to learn to show up for myself and push past the discomfort that comes with growth and expansion. Because the truth is, growth isn’t always comfortable. Discomfort is part of the process.
In the game of life, talent, looks, and experience can only take you so far. What matters is our willingness to keep going when things don’t go our way.
God has blessed every one of us with something unique to offer this world. Sometimes the biggest thing standing in our way is the limiting belief that we can’t do it.
That project you’re working on, that idea you’re trying to bring to life—keep going.
God gave us that dream for a reason.
