Reflections: The Frequency of Fear: Reclaiming Your Power Through Action and Faith

I've been reflecting a lot on the energy of fear. Recently, I posted on social media about how fear is a natural human emotion, but how we choose to overcome it is a conscious decision. And while I still believe that's true, I've started looking at fear on a much deeper level.

Is fear actually real, or is it something we create in our minds?

In my opinion, it's a combination of both. Life comes with real fears—physical, psychological, emotional, and even spiritual, I can go on. But so much of what we fear is also shaped by our thoughts, societal conditioning, past experiences, and our own self-doubt.

I'll be honest: some of the things I was once afraid to do turned out to be nowhere near as scary as I imagined once I finally took action.

Isn't it interesting how powerful our minds are? We can overthink, overanalyze, and anticipate every possible thing that could go wrong until we convince ourselves not to move at all. And before we know it, fear has turned into stagnation.

One of the most powerful tools we have for overcoming fear is ACTION.

You don't build confidence by waiting until you're no longer afraid. You build it by taking action despite the fear. Every time you face something that challenges you, you give yourself an opportunity to grow. And the more you practice stepping outside your comfort zone, the more your brain can adapt, learn, and build new patterns of response.

But here's where my faith comes in. As someone who loves God, I believe there is something incredibly powerful about trusting the Creator even when we cannot see the full picture. Think about how God can move mountains in our lives when we surrender, trust, and walk by faith rather than by sight.

We serve a God who is greater than the obstacles in front of us. And when we combine our faith with self-awareness, intentional thinking, and the courage to take action, we begin to move differently.

So, Kings and Queens, let’s keep evolving, keep trusting, and keep doing the work. Growth usually requires you to take a step that scares you. Take it anyway. God can meet you in the movement.

And remember, the more you practice courage, the stronger you become.

Let's do this, Kings and Queens!
